RSP-GOA

The B.Arch. students of second year and third year went Goa for RSP from 5th Jan to 12th Jan 2018 with four faculty member. The second year students did measured drawing of the different typology of houses of hindu community in Comba, Madgaon, Goa. The third year students did  measured drawing of church of our lady piety in same place. In that they learnt construction system, organizing of functions, measuring skill, over all built form of houses as well as church.

  • for the documentation of GOAN STREETS  and its heritage buildings inside the complex.The overall study formation consisted of detailed documentation of the structures of OLD AND NEW GOA.
  • Further the study also focused on the understanding of the spaces, scales and proportion from large complexes to minor details of carvings and other elements of space making. There was also an attempt to understand the overall character of ghats and its physical as well as religious importance in the cultural heritage of GOA .
  • The 3 day documentation exercise culminated into various layers of understanding a religious Indian town from an architectural perspective. The students of architecture underwent a rigorous assignment which had widened their visions of architecture and place with an entirely different cultural identity.
